How to get there

By car from Ust-Kamenogorsk

The road to Korobikha follows two republican highways: R-147 and R-163. Leave Ust-Kamenogorsk on the R-147 highway toward Altay. On the way, we recommend stopping at the ALTAY viewpoint (Osinovsky Pass, 57 km). At 163 km, you enter Altay. Here we recommend trying homemade pastries and delicious coffee on the terrace of the Altay Loft motel (49.720670, 84.269071). After passing Altay, continue toward Ulken Naryn. In Ulken Naryn, at around 250 km, we advise refueling at the AlemOil gas station and visiting the Katon information and tourism center. They are located next to each other and along your direction of travel. Leaving Ulken Naryn, continue on the R-163 highway toward Katon-Karagay until 321 km. At 321 km, you will find our Perekrestok location, where you can rest from the road, have a light snack, drink coffee, and use the restroom. From this point (321 km), turn right off the R-163 highway, then continue the final 45 km along the beautiful road by the Bukhtarma River to Korobikha village. Near Barlyk village, the asphalt surface unfortunately ends, so be attentive. Continue straight along the dirt road for the last 18 km. Congratulations, you have reached Korobikha — 363 km. Then follow the signs installed throughout the village to the house you need.
